--> Today is the day that we put 7 months of hell behind us. We closed on that mickey-fickey house today! I CAN HAZ PROPARTEE? Expect more pictures to follow. I want you all to see the "mural" that the previous owners painted on their 18-foot tall living room wall.

Took a few minutes to play a little pool for sanity's sake. The house situation took a turn for the worse today but it was soon ironed out (sorta) and work has me just overloaded. It's better than the alternative I guess.

One of the setbacks of working from home is that there's not a lot of opportunity to take "interesting" pictures of my day. I basically sit at a desk with my laptop, with occasional trips to the kitchen and bathroom. It's a whirlwind of entertainment.

- No, I haven't flaked out of the 365 pictures thing. I've tken a few over the past couple of days, but I haven't had time to post them. I'll get them Flickrized soon (as soon as I find the darn USB cable)
- We've moved everything into temporary storage (fucking FINALLY) and have now nestled into our temporary digs. Things are looking great with the new mortgage broker & we actually may make the Feb 13 closing date this time.
- I was wrongly accused of being a slacker at work by my boss. I legitimately missed one deliverable, but the other "flubs" she accused me of were non-existant and had to do more with frustrated clients and poorly-worded meeting requests. (The meeting was labeled as a "user interface review." How the hell does that mean that the client was expecting the entire web site to be built out?) I made nice by working overtime last weekend and completeing all SEVENTY-FIVE pages of that site in two days. *snap*
- Despite all that has happened, I am incredibly optimistic about everything. I am genuinely happy.

...because we packed the frickin' kitchen. The microwave came with the apartment, but we're trying not to use it because that would mean ONE MORE THING TO CLEAN. It's takeout city from now until this weekend when we get settled at our temporary digs.
